In 2004, Martha Dale discovered CWJC and entered the program with a goal to obtain computer skills. A year-and-a-half later she graduated and she admits she left with a lot more than computer skills.

Before coming to CWJC, Martha says she was down and discouraged a lot. Her life was meaningless and she didn’t think she had anything to offer anyone. She had a good job and was involved in her church, but something was missing. She just didn’t know what. CWJC opened her eyes to that something.

“When I saw the volunteers giving so freely of their time and talents, I realized what was missing in my life,” she said. “It was the reaching out and doing for others that I needed.”

Martha has since reached out on her own and produced a CD for CWJC.  The CD includes "Do I Make You Proud," “Will the Circle Be Unbroken,” “I Surrender All” and “The Rose.” All proceeds from the sale of the CD go to CWJC. CDs cost $7.00.

“Thanks to the staff, volunteers and supporters of CWJC for helping make a difference in the lives of women, including mine,” said Martha.
